- Induction and Information Literacy
Information Services offers a short and concise induction to all new staff and students as and when they arrive. Subject specific information literacy training is then offered to appropriate groups preferably as part of the teaching timetable. These sessions can include identifying and using appropriate information resources for a specific information need, including full text and bibliographic databases; academic misconduct, plagiarism and the importance of referencing.
