Find Books

The Library Catalogue

The Library Catalogue is the first place to look for books in the library. You can search by title or author. Alternatively, you can search by keyword to find books on your topic.

There are many more useful features available on the catalogue, including: emails about new books, saving lists of books, seeing all the books you've borrowed, etc. See more help on the catalogue.

Ebooks

An increasing number of books are freely available in full text via the web. More info on ebooks

Getting hold of books not held at Stirling University

Stirling has a Document Delivery Service which is available to dissertation students, postgraduates and staff free of charge. You may request books, reports, theses or articles from journals. Please see our DDS page for more information. Alternatively you can visit other libraries to consult items not held at Stirling - see 'other library catalogues' below.

Other Library Catalogues

There are a number of different options available if the library doesn't have the book you want, or you want to extend your search beyond Stirling. Our page on Other Library Catalogues provides more information on these options.
